Powertrain & Drive System Coverage
Every covered component is defined in the service agreement. No gray areas — what's covered is listed. This is what you show a customer who wants strong protection without paying for systems they don't use.
Engine Components
- All internally lubricated engine parts — crankshaft, camshaft, pistons, connecting rods, bearings, valves, oil pump
- External engine parts: mounts, water pump, flywheel/flexplate, harmonic balancer, dipstick tube
- Exhaust manifolds and risers covered on new watercraft only
- Cylinder heads, engine block, intake manifold, oil pan, timing cover, valve covers
- Diesel additions: cylinder sleeves/liners, fuel injectors, mechanical injection pump, turbocharger, wastegate actuator
Transmission Components
- All internally lubricated automatic transmission parts
- External: dipstick, oil fill tube, oil cooler, oil cooler lines, transmission mounts
- Internal oil pump, spool valve, and hydraulic shift actuators
- Oil pan and transmission case
- Drive gear assemblies; shift mechanisms; thrust bearings and washers
V-Drive / Stern Drive / Lower Unit
- All internally lubricated parts within the drive housing
- V-drive housing, stern drive housing, lower unit gear case
- Internal lubrication channels and sealing rings
- Drive housing and gear case
- Propeller shaft, carrier bearings, pinion bearing and race
Jet Drive Components
- All internal jet pump parts and the jet pump housing
- Stator vanes, nozzle steering bearings, bearing carrier assembly
- Jet pump casing and impeller housing
- Impeller, wear rings, driveshaft, pump bearings and seals
- Internal reverse gate actuation components
Intermediate Housing Components
- Bearings, center yoke, drive yoke
- Gimbal housing and steering yoke
- Engine coupler and intermediate housing
- Universal joints
Coverage begins upon receipt of payment. There is a 30-day initial waiting period on new contracts. Renewals at the end of term carry no waiting period. Contracts sold through ConnexMarine or an authorized dealer are eligible. All service work must be authorized by the administrator in advance — unauthorized repairs will not be covered.
Right for customers where the drivetrain is the whole story.
